Network infrastructure sits below every other IT service — cloud workloads, endpoint security, collaboration tools, and SaaS applications all depend on it. This directory lists 1 networking and infrastructure specialists covering SD-WAN design and deployment, SASE architecture, enterprise Wi-Fi, firewall management, network monitoring, and on-premises/hybrid data center networking.
The shift from MPLS to SD-WAN, and from perimeter firewalls to SASE, has created a skills gap at most MSPs. Use the directory to find providers with genuine network architecture depth — not just hardware resellers.
SD-WAN vs SASE: what your network partner should know
Many organizations are mid-transition between legacy MPLS networks and modern SD-WAN or SASE architectures. A capable networking provider should be able to design the migration path, not just deploy the endpoint hardware. Key questions:
Networking provider checklist
- SD-WAN vs SASE vs hybrid. Not every organization is ready for full SASE. Ask the provider to explain when each architecture is appropriate and what the migration path looks like from your current state.
- Vendor independence. Providers certified only in a single vendor's stack (Cisco-only, for example) will bend your architecture to fit their product. Look for multi-vendor experience.
- NOC coverage for network incidents. Network outages don't respect business hours. Confirm 24×7 NOC coverage and ask for the last three network incident response times.
- Wi-Fi site survey methodology. Ask how they conduct pre-deployment site surveys. Providers who skip formal surveys and adjust post-install are optimizing for their labor cost, not your coverage.
